The theme for the workshop/Bible Study is “Seeing the Saviour with New Eyes” (Nobody likes to be stereotyped. Even so, many people, both within and outside of the church have taken the Savior and tried to put Him into their preconceived boxes. He doesn't fit.) The sermon title for the Saturday worship service based on this year’s theme “Let Your Light Shine” Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

The Central New York Zone's primary mission outreach, is the New York State Fair booth, which continues to shine amidst an environment of "free enterprise." The booth ministry, which began in 1950, provides Christian tracts, New Testaments and Children’s Scripture Activity books. Since 1971, over 56,000 New Testaments have been distributed at the New York State Fair. Since 1987, over 65,000 Children’s Scripture Activity books have been distributed. Of the four Children’s Scripture Activity books (the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, John and Acts), Luke has been translated into Spanish for Fair distribution and John has been translated into Russian and is used in other evangelism efforts.
