These Bible studies, sponsored by Lutheran Hour Ministries, come in two types: Leader's Study (with additional insights) and the Learner's Study. It is the fervent hope that these lessons will amplify and clarify the invitation of our loving Lord to “call to Him.” In times of sorrow and sadness, worry and war; joy and jubilee, may our prayers continuously ascend to Him Who has revealed salvation through His Son, our Redeemer.

Although each of these lessons has a different theme, they will share a number of common elements (“A Christian’s Call,” “Satan’s Summons,” and “Christ’s Call to Action”). It is certainly right that each lesson begins and ends with prayer. There are a number of Scripture searches. The suggested answers, which are in the leader’s packet, are not the only possible replies.
